Avid runner Karen Febus studied business and finance at Rutgers University in New Jersey, followed by her SHRM certification – a credential that recognizes experts in the HR field. She spent the early days of her career working as an HR Business Partner in the aerospace industry and quickly worked her way up to senior positions leading human resources teams.
A large part of her career was dedicated to strategic human resource solutions, utilizing data and trends to predict, develop and drive effective labor strategies. Working closely with CEOs and executive teams, she introduced best practices and directed acquisitions to rapidly drive performance and deliver high profit for large enterprises and mid-sized companies, helping them scale through periods of high growth and change.
With over 20 years of experience under her belt, Karen combines a strategic mindset to financial astuteness and strong relationship building skills. Having worked with some of the Shiftfillers’ partners before, they knew she would be a perfect asset to the team.
Now, as Chief Operating Officer, she brings all of her experience and learnings to Shiftfillers to make a huge impact in the light industrial staffing industry. “It’s a team of subject matter experts and innovators that differentiate themselves in the marketplace by bringing a disruptive technology that solves for the most complex workforce challenges.
